Vigilia and Sentry
Different questions. Often, both.
Sentry is a deep, mature tool for engineers asking “what exactly happened in the code?”. Vigilia answers “what broke for my users, what does it mean, and how do I get it fixed?” — for anyone, including people who don’t read code.
What Vigilia adds
- Plain language by default, with the stack and request one click away.
- A fix prompt for the tool you build with — Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Claude Code — and an MCP server so your AI can fix it without copy-paste.
- Proof the fix held: after you mark something fixed, Vigilia watches real traffic and tells you it’s confirmed — or that it came back.
- Uptime, a public status page and a badge in the same place.
- Checks around the errors: leaked secret keys, expiring certificates, outages at services you depend on, and which deploy a problem started after.
What Sentry does that Vigilia doesn’t
- SDKs for mobile and many languages. Vigilia covers browser apps and JavaScript backends, and takes errors from anything already on OpenTelemetry.
- Private source-map uploads and code-level debugging tools. Vigilia reads the source maps your app publishes.
- Performance tracing and profiling — Vigilia measures page speed and slow requests, not traces.
- Session replay, and a large ecosystem of integrations.
Using both
They don’t get in each other’s way: Vigilia is one script tag and runs alongside other monitoring. A common split is Sentry for the engineers debugging code, Vigilia for everyone who needs to know what broke, what it means for users, and whether the fix worked.

Questions
Can Vigilia read my Sentry issues?
Yes, with the Team plan: the Sentry bridge explains each new Sentry issue in plain language, with a fix prompt for your builder, and posts that back on the issue as a comment.
Will it slow my app down?
No. The script is under 10 KB, loads without blocking the page, and never throws into your app — if anything goes wrong inside it, it gives up quietly.
